The process

How ToldYouSo.app Works

Two sides, one AI judge, and zero sugarcoating. Here's exactly how we turn your messiest arguments into official verdicts.

The world's most impartial judge

Every argument has two sides. Every argument also has one person who's more right than the other — and that's where ToldYouSo.app comes in. Our AI judge has no agenda, no history with either party, and absolutely no interest in keeping the peace. It just calls it like it sees it.

The Hon. Judge AI has reviewed over 25,000 arguments and ruled against both parties simultaneously on more occasions than we care to admit.
✍️
Step 1: Submit both sides

Each person types their version of events. You can do it together, or one person fills in both sides as fairly as possible. The judge notices if you're being sneaky.

⚖️
Step 2: AI deliberates

Our AI — powered by Claude, one of the world's most advanced language models — analyses the logic, fairness, and facts in each argument. It takes roughly 10 seconds.

📣
Step 3: Verdict delivered

You get a full breakdown — who won, why they won, why the loser was wrong, where both went wrong, and a quotable final statement you'll want to screenshot immediately.

Choose your judge's personality

Not all arguments need the same energy. ToldYouSo.app lets you pick from four judge personalities:

  • ⚖️ Balanced — fair, thorough, and well-reasoned. The default. Good for when you actually want a proper verdict.
  • 🔥 Brutal — no mercy, no filter, all truth. Best for when you already know you're right and just want it confirmed in the most savage way possible.
  • 🕊️ Diplomatic — gentle but honest. Perfect for sensitive situations where you need the truth delivered with a soft hand.
  • 😂 Comedian — roasts everyone equally while somehow still being accurate. The most shareable verdicts come from this one.

What the verdict includes

Every ToldYouSo verdict is a full breakdown, not just a "you win / you lose". Here's what you get:

  • Rightness scores — both sides get a percentage score from 0-100%
  • Why the winner was right — specific, referenced reasoning using the actual details submitted
  • Why the loser was wrong — equally specific, slightly savage, completely fair
  • Where both went wrong — equal-opportunity honesty
  • The judge's final word — a quotable closing statement designed to be screenshotted and sent

Is the verdict actually fair?

That's the right question to ask. The AI has no relationship with either party, no emotional investment in the outcome, and no interest in being liked. It evaluates both arguments on their merits — logic, consistency, reasonableness, and whether the facts presented actually support the position claimed.

Does it get things wrong sometimes? Yes. It's AI, not a deity. That's why there's a rematch button.

What happens after the verdict?

After your verdict you can share it directly to WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter/X. You can also download a shareable verdict card image, or get your Official Certificate of Being Right — a beautifully designed document with a gold seal, your case number, and the judge's full ruling. Perfect for framing, or sending to the person who lost.

Frequently asked questions
Does the AI always get it right?

It gets it right the vast majority of the time — but it's working only with the information you give it. If you leave out key context, the verdict may miss the mark. The more detail you provide, the better and more accurate the verdict. That said, the judge has been known to deliver devastatingly accurate verdicts with surprisingly little information.

Can both people use it separately?

Absolutely. One person can fill in their side, copy the page, and hand the phone to the other person to fill in their side. Or use the "Send to other person" feature to share a link. For the fairest result, both parties should submit their own arguments without seeing each other's first.

What if the other person refuses to participate?

You can fill in both sides yourself — just make sure you represent their position fairly. The AI judge is specifically trained to detect when someone is being one-sided or uncharitable in how they represent the other person's argument. It will call you out.

Can I use this for legal or professional disputes?

ToldYouSo.app is for entertainment and everyday disagreements. For actual legal disputes, please consult a qualified professional. Though honestly, the AI judge is probably more impartial than most humans you'll encounter.

How many times can I use it?

Unlimited. Free. Forever. We don't cap usage, require accounts, or charge per verdict. The only limit is the number of arguments you're willing to have — and from the look of our counter, humans are incredibly willing.

What categories of arguments can I settle?

Anything. Relationship disputes, household chores, money arguments, friend group drama, workplace disagreements, family conflicts, and everything in between. The judge has seen it all. Nothing shocks it anymore.

Ready to settle it?

Stop going in circles. Get the verdict. Send it to them.
